Program Outline
This program gives participants the skills and knowledge to be successful in the retail financial services sector.
The program will cover topics such as Customer Relationship Management, Sales Skills, Administration and Teamwork.
Program Duration
Program duration is generally up to twelve months, depending on whether or not the participant is completing a traineeship.
Prerequisites
There are no formal entry requirements for the Certificate II in Financial Services, however it is ideal if the participant has access to a workplace where they can practice the skills they are learning throughout the course, plus obtain the appropriate FSRA Tier II requirements, prior to presenting products to clients.
Award
A nationally accredited 'Statement of Attainment' is issued upon successful completion of all units.
Assessment
Assessment will be by way of course attendance and successful completion of projects and assignments. The projects and assignments must demonstrate implementation of concepts and processes that have been discussed during the programme, and evidence must be forwarded regarding the success of this implementation.
Training Format
Training consists of approximately one session every second month, of either half-a-day or full-day duration.
Participants attend training sessions or complete e-learning workshops. In addition, there may be assignments, work-based projects and research papers.
Participants must attend at least 80% of all training sessions and must a complete all assignments, on-line work-based projects and research papers
Our training staff are able to provide you with additional assistance, either telephone support, workplace visits or one-on-one tutoring.
